Origin
Salem Straub is shaping and forging his own knives since 2003. He is a self-taught blacksmith and owner of Promethean Knives. He also do sword arts and enjoyed making long bladed weapons.

One of the steel he used for his knives is W1 carbon steel. Damascus in 1080 and 15n20 alloys at 62HRC.
