Wood Resin knife handles are basically wooden handles where the wood is stabilised (removing water and moisture to stop the shape changing) then imposed and strengthened with (usually epoxy) resin.

The resin not only helps strengthen the handle in the knife - it also looks very cool :)

Strengths: They look awesome and feel great in the hand (natural wood always feels great)

Weaknesses: It should not be exposed to high heats (anything above 60C can effect the resin) or large/extended periods with water (which can effect the stability and structure of the knife itself).
